DVD EXTRAS:

In addition to the film, you will find more anecdotes from the Dalai Lama and other family members, a poem especially composed for the film by Nawang Khechog, and a short excerpt from my interview with Heinrich Harrer, life-long friend to His Holiness the Dalai Lama and author of Seven Years In Tibet. Our interview was to be one of the last interviews he would give before he died. And Angeles Arrien, Alice Walker, and Marion Woodman speak more about The Great Mother archetype.
  DVD EXTRAS:

Additional anecdotes from His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and Rinchen Khando Choegyal on the Tibetan Women’s Association, Kesang Takla (member of the Tibetan Parliament in exile) and Tenzin Chokey talk about human rights and life in exile.  Also included is an excerpt from a performance by The Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts and a poem composed and read by Gawa Mangsa Pekar.  In an interview shortly before her death, Tseten Drolkar Ngarongsha recounts her experience and the tragedy of the Tibetan Nation.
